Job Duties

  • Handle daytoday IT support for single building
  • Hardware and Software support for desktops/laptops/peripherals
  • Setup equipment for new hires
  • Assisting with move day prep and postmove support
  • Desk Phone deployments
  • Manage IT inventory
  • Liaison with IT in Oakville for all mobile orders and upgrades
  • Assisting remote LAN team with network installs and upgrades
  • Network troubleshooting support
  • Coordinate with IT site manager and Site Management for all necessary IT changes
  • Daily staging of machines in inventory (Windows and Linux)
  • Restaging user's machines as required
  • Troubleshoot mobile device issues with iOS, RIM, and Android devices
  • Setup A/V equipment for town halls and guest visits
  • Coordinate with site management and remote site management for guest visits
  • IT infrastructure planning for site moves
  • Sitewide Shipping and Receiving
  • Site Badge creation/updates

Requirements:


  • Must possess a professional demeanor and strong customer service/consulting/training skills
  • Experience troubleshooting/repairing desktop and laptop hardware in the field or in a related area
  • Network troubleshooting skills including Intel servers and telecoms
  • Strong Break / Fix skills for Desktops, Workstations, Notebooks, and Dell tablets
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong Microsoft operating system troubleshooting skills
  • Strong Linux operating system troubleshooting skills
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary:
Up to $45,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Weekend availability
