The
Customer Service Representative is an integral part of the Checkers team, responsible for providing our customers with exceptional customer service and support, putting the _
CUSTOMER FIRST_.
This position will require handling inquiries, processing orders, promoting our services, and ensuring that all customers have a positive experience with our company.
Additionally, this role will also represent Checkers at our trade counter by greeting and assisting in-person customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing information, and managing transactions.
The Customer Service Representative will utilize their superior communication skills to respond to needs, address customer concerns and maintain our high standards of customer satisfaction.
The Customer Service Representative will be a champion of the Checkers _"_

Performance Objectives
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to all Checkers customers.
- Assist customers with product information, pricing, and availability.
- Process customer returns and exchanges quickly and efficiently.
- Operate the Checkers trade counter and provide service to inperson customers.
- Reply to any customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Monitor the "live chat" portal option on the Checkers website.
- Maintain up to date customer information in Spire.
- Identify opportunities to offer additional Checkers products and services via a soft sell approach.
- Act as the "HUB" between the Sales Team and Logistics Team to ensure timely customer service and deliveries.
- Expedite order communication and followup to customers as required.
- Remain updated on the cleaning supply industry's best practices and emerging trends.
- Comply with all Checkers policies and procedures.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Checkers Management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in customer service or a related field.
- Able to work in a fastpaced environment and effectively multitask.
- Accurate keyboarding and spelling skills, minimum of at least 50 wpm preferred.
- Knowledge of the commercial cleaning industry an asset.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Positive attitude and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
