- You will be an expert in:
- Auvik products: know our products, inside and out, and the value they bring to our customers and market. Serve as a technical product expert and spokesperson both internally and externally.
- Market and industry intelligence: know our buyers and users. Identify and nurture relationships with key customers and industry influencers to maintain a finger on the pulse of our industry.
- Competitive landscape: know our competition and how they are positioned to ensure we're aware of opportunities and recognize potential threats to the business.
- Share prospect, customer and market knowledge with the broader team to inform our targeting, content, demand generation, sales, and customer success strategies.
- Engage directly and encourage the team to listen to our prospects and customers to develop a deep understanding of the challenges they face. Help to identify where and how Auvik's products map to these challenges and deliver value.
- Support the launches of new to market product releases and updates.
- Collaborate with product management to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas.
- Champion our brand both internally and externally. Lead the ongoing evolution of our product, identity and messaging, while building awareness of the Auvik brand.
- Provide input into the sales & marketing plan for the products covered, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
- Understand and support our sales enablement team; collaborate with them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; assist and develop internal tools and external collateral.
- Collaborate regularly with members of the broader marketing, product management, sales, and customer success to:
- ensure alignment;
- develop high-impact go-to-market plays and assets;
- get feedback on program effectiveness and process improvements.
- Continuously evaluate systems and encourage process and documentation to enable more time for meaningful work.
- Proven years of product marketing experience with at least a few years of experience in a network management or IT market-facing role.
- Proven experience in a technical product marketing role within a B2B SaaS organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content and deliver persuasive presentations, both virtually & in-person.
- A data-driven mentality in both the outside-in and inside-out messaging.
- Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is - or isn't - working.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer networking, or equivalent experience.
- Certification such as Pragmatic Marketing or Product Marketing Alliance certification is a plus.

We are seeking a self-directed, experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic Product team. Reporting to the Vice President, Product Market & Strategy, you will directly impact the success of Auvik's products by driving product, market, and competitive knowledge. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including demand gen, sales, product management, and customer success, to ensure effective product positioning and communication to our target audience. You will influence product direction and development with customer and market insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong IT management background (especially networking), combined with the ability to communicate highly technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Hiring Process
At Auvik, our hiring process is designed to be personal, transparent, and human-led. Our Talent Acquisition Partners review all resumes, connect with candidates whose skills and experience aligns with the role, and stay in communication with you throughout your journey. If our interests align, you'll meet with a hiring manager, as well as additional members of the hiring team in follow-up conversations. All of your interviews will take place via Zoom.
Before meeting with a hiring manager, we also ask candidates to complete a 5-minute Predictive Index (PI) assessment. This helps us understand and match your strengths and work preferences with roles that will set you up for success.
We use AI tools to support administrative tasks in the hiring process; such as helping source candidates, drafting communications, and interview summaries, so our team can stay focused and present during conversations. We do not use AI tools to interview, screen or assess candidates; or determine who moves forward in the process. We debrief and consider the full context of every conversation before making hiring decisions. We believe hiring requires judgment that can be augmented but, not replaced by AI.
Compensation Details
At Auvik, our compensation philosophy is to be market competitive, reward performance, reflect our commitment to equity and maintain transparency with our employees. We have defined job levels and compensation ranges for each of our markets we employ, based on research from various sources of market data, which are reviewed on a regular basis.
The hiring range for this position is listed below. Compensation offered for candidates in this role is based on a number of factors including job-related skills, knowledge, and experience. These factors may cause your compensation to vary within the range outlined below.
In addition to cash compensation, all full-time employees are granted stock options to share in Auvik's future successes. Auvik employees are eligible to participate in additional benefits and programs including our comprehensive health and dental benefits plan, Wellness spending account, GRSP matching program, flexible paid time off, paid parental leave program, and are eligible for remote working subsidies.
Salary Range: $107,500—$140,000 CAD
