- Monitoring and updating the long term mine rehabilitation plan
- Analyzing and interpreting geotechnical monitoring data
- Completing various geotechnical projects, as required
- Trialing new technology in ground support and geotechnical innovation
- Providing geotechnical input for LOM sequencing, mine design, and mineral reserves
- 7 years' experience as an underground Geotechnical Engineer
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Geological, Geotechnical, Civil or Mine Engineering
- Professional Engineering Designation (P.Eng) or eligible for registration
- Experience leading a technical team
- Experience with 3D mine design software e.g. Deswik
- Experience with geotechnical analysis and modelling software e.g. RS3, UnWedge, Dips, FLAC3D

Rainy River Mine
Situated in beautiful northwestern Ontario, 65 km northwest of Fort Frances, the Rainy River Mine is an open pit, gold and silver producing, residential mine site.
The Rainy River Mine, located adjacent to the Ontario / Minnesota border is 65 Kilometers northwest of Fort Frances, Ontario and is situated half way between Winnipeg, Manitoba and Thunder Bay, Ontario The area is home to more than 130 species of birds and large populations of moose, black bear and deer.
