PIANO PIANO is seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen team and bring creativity, passion, and excellence to our culinary offerings.

A PIANO PIANO kitchen is a fast paced but fun working environment. We take our internal policy of "no ego kitchens" and positive culture with pride.

As the Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, menu planning, and inventory management.

You will also collaborate with the management team to ensure the restaurant's financial and operational goals are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all culinary operations, including menu development, kitchen staff management, inventory management, and food cost / labour cost control.
Scheduling, training, and mentoring kitchen staff to ensure that they are consistently producing highquality dishes
Collaborate with the executive chef to create and execute new dishes and menus.
Work closely with the front of house team to ensure that the dining experience is seamless and meets the high standards of our restaurant.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, in compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

5+ years of culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of contemporary culinary techniques and trends
Proven ability to create and execute innovative menus
Experience managing and training kitchen staff
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Passion for using fresh, local ingredients and supporting sustainable food practices
