We are looking for a motivated individual who is committed to growing their professional career at Corwest while gaining valuable knowledge and experience through a variety of assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of the tendering process
• Producing and reviewing miscellaneous correspondence, reports, specifications, spreadsheets, and other documents, including background documents as required
• Prepares detailed firm, budget and unit price estimates for labour, materials, equipment, etc.
• Develops tender submissions and respond to posttender inquires
• Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies
• Supporting business development initiatives including proposal/bid submission documentation and maintaining project list and contact list
• Various data entry tasks including schedule development and updates
• Assist in the maintenance of files of working documents as backup for estimate figures, including current information on prices from suppliers

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Engineering Graduation (up to 24 months of graduation)
• Knowledge of cost control, estimating and planning techniques is an asset
• Use of computer software: MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Drivers license and access to a vehicle is an asset
• Current knowledge of pipe, fittings, and flange standards and specifications is an asset
