Port Hardy Chevrolet Buick GM has an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently looking for experienced Red Seal Automotive Technicians to join our outstanding service department.

• Conducting Vehicle Inspections: Responsible for thorough vehicle inspections to detect issues and ensure proper documentation through Video Multipoint Inspection.
• Diagnosing Issues: Utilize diagnostic tools to identify mechanical problems and document recommended repairs.
• Performing Repairs and Maintenance: Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles.
• Communication with Service Advisors: Regularly update service advisors on repair status and discuss any concerns.
• Maintaining a Clean, Safe & Organized Workspace: Keep a tidy, safe, and organized work environment.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Efficiency/Productivity: Measure of work completed in each period, such as billed hours or serviced cars.
• Comeback Rate: Percentage of jobs requiring rework due to errors or customer dissatisfaction.
• Time to Repair: Duration from diagnosis to completion of repair jobs.
• Training and Certification: Level of training and certification indicating ability to work on newer vehicles.
• Customer Satisfaction: Satisfaction level with the technician's work quality and overall service experience.

Requirements:

• Red Seal Certificate
• Valid driver's license
• 1-2 years of automotive repair experience
• Willingness to learn and effective communication of automotive issues
