About this role

This is a unique opportunity for a
UX/UI Designer to lead and be a part of product design for one of the most exciting start-ups in the real estate industry.

BrokerBay is looking for an experienced product designer to join the team and grow our product delivery capabilities.

BrokerBay is a product-first company, with our current offering far ahead of its competition and our client base rapidly expanding across North America.

This is a hybrid role based out of Toronto ON.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and lead the product design strategy, work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams i.e. product management, engineering, and sales
Create and maintain design guidelines, principles, and standards to ensure consistency across our products
Produce usercentered design solutions that are intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing
Conduct user research and testing to identify user needs, behaviors, and preferences, to incorporate feedback into design solutions
Build and maintain design systems to support the development of scalable, consistent, and highquality products
Manage and mentor a team of designers, provide feedback and guidance to improve skills and development
Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and prioritize design deliverables
Translate product and business objectives into design solutions
Produce user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate product concepts and solutions
Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback into design solutions

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
7+ years of experience in product design, multiple portfolios demonstrating successful design process and outcomes
2+ years of experience leading and managing a team of designers
2+ years of experience in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite

Preferred Qualifications
Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

Master's degree in design
Problemsolving skills and ability to think strategically about design solutions
Experience with user research, usability testing, and datadriven design
Able to communicate design concepts and decisions effectively to stakeholders
Working in an agile development environment
