  • N0424Clinical managers work collaboratively with all members of the Management Team to coordinate effective daily work flow, ensure effective and efficient use of resources, support safe patient care and support the corporate vision.

Reporting to the Director of Rehabilitation, Medical, Ambulatory Programs and Environmental Services, the successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and activities of the Vascular Health and Ambulatory Clinics portfolio which includes the District Stroke Centre, Stroke Prevention Clinic, Systemic Therapy, Heart Function Clinic, Diabetes Education Clinic and the coordination of Regional Telemedicine and Diabetes Education program(s).

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Current certificate of competence as a Regulated Health Professional
  • Minimum four (4) year Bachelor of Science degree or a related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience which preferably includes a minimum of two (2) years of formal supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and with respect in an oral and written format with patients, public, colleagues and other health disciplines
  • Demonstrated effective critical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Demonstrated effective teambuilding and coaching skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient and employee safety
  • Experience working with unions and union contracts
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Demonstrated understanding of formal and informal systems in an organizational environment
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical outcome measurement and continuous quality improvement
  • Embodies the LEAN ideology by actively and continually seeking opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Must have demonstrated ability to meet the attendance standards of the Hospital
  • Bilingualism preferred (French/English)
