The production supervisor manages their team during the evening shift and when replacing other production coordinators, controls manufacturing processes, and ensures smooth operations.

They also play an active role in terms of review, evaluation, improvement, and training, while providing ongoing supervision of manufacturing processes and procedures to enhance them and reduce costs. The job holder contributes to maintaining requirements for food safety and quality, as well as health and safety.

What does this role involve:

Controls manufacturing processes and ensures production plans are adhered to
Uses personnel in a way that respects budgets
Facilitates and supports continuous improvement initiatives, operational changes, and projects as assigned
Recommends measures to achieve better qualitative results and improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality
Manages, motivates, develops their staff, ensuring accountability and involvement in decision-making
Participates in health and safety initiatives such as training sessions, coaching, or accident investigations
Ensures compliance with health & safety, quality, environmental, and sanitation programs
Ensures adequate workforce resource allocation

What you need to join our team:

Hold a College Diploma (DEC) or university degree in a relevant discipline
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in production and warehouse management, preferably in a unionized environment in the food/beverage sector
Proficiency in computer skills, especially in the Microsoft Office environment
