Job Duties

Installation (including prewiring, installing, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting) and maintenance of integrated security systems
Install low voltage cable for security cameras, card access systems, and alarm systems.
Terminate CAT5/6 cable with RJ45 and into a patch panel
Mount and focus IP cameras
Mount and terminate alarm panels
Mount network racks and wall enclosures
Install and terminate door strikes and card readers; and
Read blueprints and drawings.
Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Perform other tasks as required
Ability to travel and work throughout when required

Technical skill set

Experience with low voltage system, access control, cctv, security systems, communications, home automation.
System cabling
Electronics knowledge
Use of digital voltmeter
Understanding wiring diagrams (component level experience not expected)
Understanding VLAN's
Sub nets
Ability to configure and edit network setting on various hardware environments

Requirements:

03 years of experience installing and/or maintaining cabling, security cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, and/or similar experience.
Must have a valid full "G" license
Must have a clean driving record
Must be currently able to legally work in Canada
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID1
Must be able to reliably commute to and from the warehouse/job site

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

$20 per hour
