The global Marketing function is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of the Bank.

The function focuses on understanding customers and the identification, development and execution of Marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that support and strengthen the HSBC brand, support the drive for revenue and increase customer value and satisfaction in order to meet agreed targets and objectives.

About the role


This role is part of the Wealth & Personal Banking team, which ensures that all activity, regardless of channel, is strategically aligned and cohesive.

It also sets the direction for the Wealth & Personal Banking planning to ensure that the campaign plans are clearly aligned to business customer and brand objectives.


The role holder is responsible for:

  • Drives customer acquisition and share of wallet growth in key segments, building the HSBC brand presence (both online and offline channels) and supporting the local activation of marketing initiatives
  • Manage and implement marketing activities required to support the annual marketing plan on time and in budget (including campaign development & briefing, communication, proofing, stakeholder approvals, reporting results and etc )
  • Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics, making optimization recommendations, and creating comprehensive reports
  • Leverage and implement best practices, customer insights and data to execute marketing plans across different lines of business
  • Build and maintain strong and effective working relationships with internal business partners and external agencies/suppliers to ensure highquality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness
  • Manage project risk and due diligence with compliance, translation and third party management/procurement
  • Being a media expert manage media agencies with providing valuable media expertise to lead media plans with a key eye on optimization and driving results
  • Oversee internal partnerships to align with business objectives and marketing KPIs
  • Be a customer champion, collaborative team player and adopt agile ways of working
KPIs will include, and not restricted to

  • Execution of Marketing Programs
  • Delivery of business outcome / ROMI
  • Improved Customer Experience (CX) outcomes. [NPS/ CSAT / CCF]
  • Brand Equity Growth

Responsibilities:


  • Execute effective marketing initiatives with the ability to lead internal meetings to drive strategic alignment
  • Implement marketing strategies and activities in line with the agreed Marketing plan, strategy, budget, and activity schedule
  • Work with agencies and third parties to deliver campaigns and assets to time and in budget with independence
  • Work with a range of key stakeholders within HSBC business teams to share outputs and best practice, securing alignment and buyin of marketing objectives
  • Work directly with a broad range of agencies (e.g. creative, media)
  • Assume daytoday management of agencies to deliver campaigns on time and within budget with a strong view of the strategic direction
  • Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
  • Support achievement of the HSBC vision, Values, goals and culture in personal behaviour, actions and decision making
  • Communicate and adhere to HSBC policy and procedures in order to ensure good operational, financial and project management, policy and procedural compliance and early identification and effective resolution or escalation of issues that arise
Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years proven and progressive financial services marketing experience or equivalent in a fastpaced, complex environment
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational, project management, statistical, analytical, communications, presentation, and lateral thinking skills
  • Excellent creative writing and oral communication skills
  • Positive, nothing
