Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
Utilize industrystandard software and tools to create comprehensive estimates
Review and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals
Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing
Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and make adjustments as necessary
Provide support to project managers and other team members as needed

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
Proficient in using estimating software and tools
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Project management experience is a plus
