As the Lean Manager for Association Operations, you'll create a Lean practice that permeates through the organization, becoming part of the AMA organizational DNA and culture for the benefit of members, employees, and business.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Report to the Chief Operating Officer, Association.
- Work closely with operational Lean Specialists.
- Lead the AMA Lean Coordination Group which brings together AMA Lean Coordinators and reports to the Lean Steering Committee. You'll develop and manage the strategic plan, budget, and Lean rollout roadmap.
- Develop and lead crossfunctional teams to execute lean initiatives and projects across AMA.
- Lead kaizens while coaching and training team members working toward their Green belt to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
- Work with the operations teams to identify any trends or opportunities and then develop process changes to address the issues.
- Work closely with suppliers to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce waste.
- Be willing to travel within Alberta.
WHAT YOU'VE DONE
- You've got a postsecondary education in business administration, engineering, or operations management.
- You've got a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt along with 35 years of experience in implementing Lean methodologies.
- You've proven that you know how to get high quality results and foster positive relationships with various stakeholders.
