Overall Purpose


We are seeking a Delivery Lead to work closely with Global and Regional stakeholders in the Supply Chain Planning business functions.

This position is responsible for overseeing the systems that are part of the Integrated Supply Chain Technology portfolio and for design, roll-out, hypercare and transition to steady state of any solutions in this space.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, deploying best in class solutions that conform to audit requirements, creating/supporting policies, and driving best practice process changes with global and regional teams.


Responsibilities and Accountabilities


The Delivery lead will be responsible for contributing to the Integrated Supply Chain roadmap; including Tools, Systems Processes and Training.


Key responsibilities are:

  • Ensure the design of the organization's Integrated Business Planning systems and processes is meeting current and ongoing business requirements.
  • Facilitate the development and Implementation of solutions to drive efficiency and standardization globally. Work with the business on user adoption.
  • Facilitate the development of Detailed Feasibility Studies (DFS) for proposed initiatives including cost of proposed systems and supporting business justification.
  • Maintain integrity of the global design. Ensure that all enhancements have measurable return on investment, follow the design principles for global applicability and only deviate where legal and regulatory requirements dictate. Focus on standard "out of the box" functionality and minimize customization.
  • Collaborate with other Delivery Leads and Product Owners on the Portfolio teams to deliver solutions.
  • Deploy and implement systems and tools such as SAP IBP, SAP-APO, BluJay, SAP TM, SAP OM.

Key activities and expectations include:
A. Capturing and documenting comprehensive business requirements for global initiatives;
B. Creating functional specifications (translating global business requirements into instructions that can be used by the technical developers to design the solution);
C. Delivering high quality technology solutions that meet business requirements within the agreed upon schedule
D. Assisting in evaluation and selection of new software solutions;
E. Creating/writing zero level and system integration tests scripts and reviewing with business users to ensure proper User Acceptance testing (UAT) scripts have been created and executed by the business for the system/enhancement;
F.

Supporting the business during hypercare and ensuring that solutions are stable before they get handed over to operational teams for steady state support.


System Enhancement and Upgrades:

Evaluate impact of Enhancement pack and Service pack upgrades and work with Product owners and business to ensure the new functionality offers payback and cost savings.

Test the solution prior to go live and support the business through Hypercare periods.


  • Monitor status of business readiness activities including promptly identification of impacted roles, communication and training of new features or changes that require to be cleansed.
  • Business Engagement - Work with Product owners to identify and plan continuous improvement initiatives and establish regular engagement meetings with business partners to gather input for the development of the 3-year roadmap.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Strong functional knowledge and demonstrated extensive experience designing, delivering or supporting technology solutions in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Optimization.
  • Knowledge of SAP IBP and SAP APO will be required. SAP S/4 HANA will be an asset.
  • An IBP certification will be desirable. A certification in an agile methodology like scrum or Kanban will be an asset.
  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience will also be an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain best practices and interdependencies.
  • Exposure to other Supply Chain areas, especially Transportation, will be desirable.
  • Proven experience as a stream lead working with multidisciplined, and multicultural global teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite of programs
  • Experience with Software Selection RFP process is an asset
