    Reporting to the Senior Engineering Supervisor, the Senior Specialist, Maintenance is responsible for the development of equipment troubleshooting scopes and advancing critical maintenance strategies within the organization. This role will suit those who are keen to apply their knowledge across a large multi-site organization and who have a strong background in Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) and asset management.

    The successful candidate will possess excellent knowledge of CBM technologies with a large amount of experience running effective programs. They must be a clear and confident collaborator and communicator both verbal and written, with the ability to maintain effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders. They must have great discipline and time management abilities and be able to effectively manage challenging priorities with minimal guidance and demonstrated leadership skills and capability. Most importantly, we are looking for an individual who can communicate and engage maintenance leaders to inspire change.

    Responsibilities:

    • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
    • Design program workflows, roles, responsibilities, and guidelines to establish program execution processes as per CBM Industry Standards
    • Work closely with stakeholders to support scope requirements for CBM programs
    • Lead the implementation of a new cloud-based reporting/historian tool specifically built for Condition Monitoring technologies
    • Lead the technical execution and sustainment of current centralized route-based vibration programs
    • Lead the technical execution, sustainment, and expansion of AMS wireless vibration and temperature sensing device programs
    • Act as a subject matter expert/mentor in the field of CBM

    Qualifications:

    • Journeyperson's ticket, bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical diploma
    • Minimum seven years experience in CBM (vibration, oil, infrared, ultrasound) and relevant certifications
    • Experience troubleshooting rotating equipment, both electrically and mechanically
    • Sophisticated analytical, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
    • Must have experience working in a large industrial environment such as mining, oil and gas, or manufacturing
    • Must possess a valid Class 5 or equivalent driver's license

    Salary Range: $115,000 - $142,000

    The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.

    Successful candidates must be willing to satisfy the pre-employment requirements of a pre-employment drug screen and three professional references.
