Looking to get the most out of your upcoming internship?_**Hatch is seeking a
Transit Civil Student for an internship with interest in Railway & Transit engineering starting September 2024.

Reporting to Rail & Transit Project Engineers you will support offices globally working from our
Mississauga, ON head office.

Be working as part of a design team, assisting with conceptual, preliminary and detailed design; site inspection; design calculations, report writing.
Coordination with engineers, designers and related disciplines as required to assist with project deliverables.
Preparing design submissions and other technical documents.

You bring to the role:

Currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a Civil Design College Program;
Relevant courses: Civil, Structural, Geotechnics, Utilities and Project Management are an asset.
Knowledge of current technical engineering codes and practices.
Proficiency in the use of either or: AutoCAD, MicroStation and/or Civil3D
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook);
Problem solving skills and analytical.
