Supply Management Analyst

The Opportunity:

We have multiple openings for keen problem solvers who are innovative, strategic and detail orientated.

If this sounds like you, keep reading As a Supply Management Analyst at Canadian Natural, you will be responsible for supporting the operational activities of Canadian Natural's Conventional and Thermal production.

Key Accountabilities:

Create, administer and close out Contracts for Asset Retirement (Well & Pipeline Abandonments, Reclamation and Remediation) Operations including change orders and amendments as required
Issue RFx's
Establish and maintain auditable files for all contracts to ensure proper documentation is in place and can be referred to if needed
Contribute to vendor development and more specifically supplier relationship management programs
Analyze and provide marketplace research and data analysis
Develop and submit reports and other metrics as and when required, such as spend evaluation and cost comparisons
Drive results under tight timelines and track action items, while working with key internal stakeholders

Other Details:

Job location: Calgary, Alberta

Shift schedule: 5x

Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day
We are actively recruiting for both permanent and temporary positions on the team
Temporary positions are for a period of 12 months

Skills & Qualifications:

Typically 2+ years of contract management experience with a university degree or related postsecondary education
Desire to pursue or completion of a Supply Chain Management Professional designation is considered an asset
Practical experience with contract development, including exposure to negotiating contract terms and conditions
Experience with contract management systems and/or JD Edwards
