    Our Team

    The OHS division provides integrated solutions to construction, industrial, commercial, and manufacturing clients who require support in assessing and implementing various health and safety and industrial hygiene programs in their workplace. The combined skills of our industrial hygiene and safety professionals, their diverse backgrounds in safety assessments, auditing, program development and worker exposure surveys provide our clients with a team recognized as leaders in the field.

    The Role

    As a Project Coordinator you will work on a variety of projects such as: fire, life, and safety audits/assessments, construction site inspections for safety compliance, noise and air monitoring occupational hygiene assessments, confined space evaluations, developing various occupational health and safety programs and procedures, and development of chemical exposure control plans/procedures.

    As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Assist Project Managers with proposals and project budgets
  • Conduct on-site assessments and audits, and complete reports
  • Conduct or manage occupational hygiene surveys
  • Client development and marketing
  • What You Bring to the Pinchin Team

  • A university degree in engineering, chemistry, or physics, or a degree in a closely related biological or physical science
  • Professional health and safety designation: e.g. CIH/ROH/CRSP/CSP or actively working towards certification an asset
  • 3 or more years of occupational hygiene and/or safety experience with sound knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation (e.g. WorkSafe BC, Canada Labour Code, etc.)
  • Consulting or project management experience is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills, professional presentation, and technical expertise
  • Proven writing skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license required for lower mainland travel (all reimbursable)
  • Ability to travel out of town on occasion
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings on occasion
