What does the job look like:

Write and prepare lesson plans ahead of your sessions
Find creative ways to teach and explain concepts to the students
Connect with the student to build to their motivation and confidence
Assign homework as needed and required to help the students perform better
Write postsession reports
Occasionally, we might ask for progress reports with the students

We are hiring part-time tutors for English, Math and Science (K to 12).

Requirements:

Completed or currently enrolled in a postsecondary education program in British Columbia
One or more years of formal employment in any field. Customer service experience is a strong asset
Good academic standing
Minimum one year of tutoring experience in formal or informal setting
Able and willing to travel to students' homes
Legally authorized to work in Canada
