    About the Opportunity


    The occupational therapist is responsible for facilitating, restoring and/or maintaining patients'/clients' optimal level of function in self-care, productivity and leisure areas. This role works under the supervision of a manager to provide consultation, assessment, treatment, evaluation and follow-up services within hospitals, clients' homes and communities.


    As an occupational therapist (OT), you will establish individualized treatment plans and goals while prioritizing issues using clinical judgement and decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are required along with education and support provided to clients, families and caregivers.



    Responsibilities



    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans that address physical disabilities or limitations resulting from mental or physical conditions;

    • Assess client needs through observation, interviews or assessments to identify effective interventions for patient recovery;
