is an automotive parts manufacturing facility in Brantford and we require a Production Control Leader to join our team There is huge potential for future growth due to our state of the art technology in the ever growing ecofriendly vehicles market.

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Planning and prioritizing daily operations of material handlers to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule when shift coverage is needed.
  • Perform material handler functions as needed
  • Load outgoing trucks/unloading incoming trucks as needed
  • Communicate tasks to all shifts (utilize communication board and develop schedule for forklift drivers)
  • Determining manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
  • Address issues aiming for mínimal disruption
  • Prepare shipping and receiving documentation
  • Receive materials and shipments in computer system
  • Monitor and record materials, sub assembly and finished product inventory levels
  • Communication with Vendors as required
  • Utilize assisted and protective devices when needed/back up capacity
  • Operates machinery such as booms, cranes, and forklifts to handle materials and stock in a back up capacity

Qualifications:


  • 35+ years relatable experience within a manufacturing environment and/or demonstrated work experience
  • Understanding and experience with deliveries and shipments within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize and multitask
  • Demonstrated flexibility within a fastpaced environment
  • Superior attention to detail in all areas of work
  • Professional appearance and manners
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
