***Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) has an opening for a Manager, Digital Marketing and eCommerce, based in Toronto. Reporting to the Director of Integrated Marketing, the newly created role of Manager, Digital Marketing and eCommerce will be responsible for building and executing the digital marketing strategy that drives traffic, conversions, engagement, and revenue.


In this role, you will also be responsible for leading Canadian Hearing Services' digital marketing efforts for our for-profit and not-for-profit products and services.

You will manage all aspects of digital marketing including SEM (SEO and PPC), the creation of online content, website analytics, campaign optimization, and all B2B and B2C ecommerce channels.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that increase online visibility and engagement with target audiences, generate online sales, and deliver positive ROI.


We are seeking a data-driven digital marketer with a deep knowledge of best practices including experience with a range of technology and platforms to take ownership of the CHS digital customer journey.

He/she/they must be a strong team player, put the client at the center of everything they do, and will take an interest in understanding the unique needs of CHS clients who come from Deaf and hard of hearing communities.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Digital Marketing and Ecommerce Strategy

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns that drive website traffic, leads, and conversions and ultimately acquiring new customers and clients.
  • Lead the internal process to identify priorities, goals, budgets, and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain our web content guidelines.
  • Perform A/B testing for continuous improvement.
  • Lead the development and management of PPC programs including budgets, performance, and reporting.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate endtoend customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Monitor and optimize search engine performance through keyword research, content optimization, link building strategies, etc.
  • Lead the creation of online content ensuring that the brand message is consistent across all digital platforms and programs.
  • Conduct content SEO and UX audits to ensure best practices are being used and implement strategies to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Analyze customer behavior and user data to identify areas for improvement, such as reducing cart abandonment rates and improving the checkout process.
  • Set standards, systems, and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and maintenance across all eCommerce platforms.
  • Develop geotargeted programs that drive awareness and hearing test bookings for our Hearing Clinics based on regional requirements and business needs.
  • Manage agency briefing, relationships, budgets, and accountabilities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications and Creative Services on content creation and to support brand marketing efforts.
  • Work closely with the Supervisor, E-Commerce and Communication Devices and B2B Sales Team to execute on eCommerce strategy and align goals.
  • Work closely with IT on new technology rollouts, integrations, accessibility, security, and issue resolutions.

Analytics and Reporting

  • Analyze data to draw key recommendations around website and eStore optimization.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Create and maintain digital dashboards and prepare internal reports for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Own and implement all digital tracking for all programs and tactics.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Postsecondary education in and/or certification in digital marketing.
  • Minimum 5 years' work experience focused on building digital marketing strategy.
  • Handson working experience with Drupal and MS Dynamics and/or other CMS and CRM technologies.
  • Related experience creating B2C and B2B digital marketing and eCommerce strategies.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels, A/B testing, and building attribution models.
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.).
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or la Langue des Signes Quebecoise (LSQ) is an asset; note that all CHS staff are required to undertake ASL classes as a condition of continued employment.
