Human Resources Recruiter

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Coordinate the recruiting process: select resumes, conduct telephone prescreens, conduct interviews, forward resumes to the hiring managers for second interviews.
  • Work with management to develop and maintain hiring profiles for all major positions.
  • Creatively write and manage the employment advertising process, internal and external.
  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups during Orientation sessions
  • Ensure appropriate records are developed and maintained, including maintenance of the Mitre Finch HRIS and employee files
  • Support management in maintaining and monitoring the probationary employee program.
  • Manage internal postings and the transition of transferred employees.
  • Local travel required to maintain a presence at multiple plants in the Hamilton / Stoney Creek area.
  • General HR office administration such as filing, data entry, document preparation, legislative research, etc.
  • Participate in and help organize company events, such as company picnic, Holiday party, BBQ's, etc.
  • Ensure all HR requirements are carried out professionally and efficiently in accordance with legislation and Orlick Policy
  • Assist and perform ad hoc reports when required
  • Assist with all other HRrelated functions as required.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years recruiting experience
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Proven time management and organizational skills
  • Results and goal driven
  • Intermediate MS Office skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$45,000.00 per year
