Home and Community Care Support Services North East offers a wide-range of quality health-care services and resources to support people of all ages at home, school or in community.

In addition to planning, delivering and coordinating care for thousands of people each day in Northeastern Ontario, we also manage eligibility and admissions to long-term care homes, short stay respite, assisted living, and adult day programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 3year College diploma in a computer technology field or a University Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent education.
  • A+, MCP, ITIL Foundation, or additional Microsoft certifications would be considered an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft operating systems and Office suite products, providing handson user support.
  • Indepth knowledge of Microsoft Windows, servers, networking, VOIP, including experience with Windows PowerShell Scripting will be considered assets.
  • Demonstrated ability to research, diagnose, and resolve technical issues on a Tier II level.
  • Ability to distribute, install, maintain, manage and provide guidance on all networked computers and assets.
  • Ability to handle new image deployment and physical moves of computers and peripheral equipment.
  • Understanding of project methodologies to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to document issues and resolutions to ensure they are tracked.
  • Good understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening, inquiring and resolving.
  • Advanced oral and written proficiency in English is essential.
  • A valid "G" Ontario Driver's License, access to a reliable vehicle and rotational availability to be oncall.
