  • The main responsibilities include:_
  • Influence and guide managers to implement appropriate HR strategies and ensure that corporate strategies are taken into account in their development;
  • Guide managers in the context of work and team reorganization, transformation or any other project impacting the organization's human resources, and develop a change management strategy appropriate to each specific situation;
  • Contribute proactively to the ongoing talent management process, which includes performance reviews, talent reviews, forward-looking talent management based on future competencies, and identification of critical positions;
  • Accompany the various teams in the adoption and appropriation of the new organizational values in order to bring them to life on a daily basis;
  • Accompany managers more specifically in identifying high-potential employees and setting up appropriate development plans, as well as in implementing sound succession plans (accompanied by their action plans);
  • Ensure compliance with HR management programs and policies, and recommend changes to HR policies when required;
  • Advise managers on human relations issues and employee management;
  • Advise employees on ways to solve problems and address HR issues;
  • Analyze and interpret employee survey data to develop strategies, programs and action plans to meet business needs;
  • Take responsibility for, and ensure appropriate follow-up of, disability issues with employees, managers and external partners;
  • Analyze HR performance indicators and use them to propose appropriate HR actions to customer groups based on their respective realities;
  • Ensure constant monitoring of best HR practices in the marketplace and develop recommendations for implementation when relevant to Ivanhoe Cambridge;
  • Carry out any other related tasks required by his/her duties.
The skills of success- Bachelor's degree in human resources management or industrial relations and CHRP, CRIA or CRHA designation.

MBA an asset;- At least ten to fifteen years' experience in a similar position;- Excellent ability to influence and guide leaders ranging from executives to first-level managers;- Excellent knowledge of labor laws (provincial and federal);- International experience;- Ability to foster a work environment conducive to achieving and surpassing objectives;- Ability to lead projects from start-up to implementation;- Experience in organizational transformation (organizational design approach);- Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization;- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, perform under pressure and multi-task;- Strong customer service skills and results orientation;- Demonstrated experience in change management;- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software;- Fluency in French and English (oral and written).

Frequent oral and/or written interactions with I.C employees based in one of its international offices.
