Job Summary:
This position has primary responsibility to support CSA Group's overall Corporate Communications program and will own the development and execution of communications tactics and programs to support global employee and external communications projects.
This role will work closely with CSA's Employee Communications Manager to deliver internal communications across a variety of channels, including our corporate intranet, CSA Connect.
This role will also work closely with CSA's Manager, Public Relations to execute public relations/media relations programs and other external communications initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Understanding the Business- Partners with the Senior Director, Corporate Brand and Communications and Employee Communications Manager to execute strategic employee communications programs designed to support global business strategies and goals.
Supports execution of employee engagement, change management, and other employee communications deliverables.- Partners with the Senior Director, Corporate Brand and Communications and Manager, Public Relations to execute a global external communications strategy designed to support global business strategies and goals.
Working Well with Others- Works collaboratively with the Corporate Communication team and the broader Marketing team on the execution of communications designed to support and engage stakeholders internally and externally.- Fosters strong working relationships with global stakeholders to deliver internal and external communication projects across CSA Group.- Works with senior leaders to execute communications plans that build employee engagement at all levels and support a strong company culture.
Concern for Safety- Helps build a model of positive safety culture that recognizes and values the participation and contribution of all workers.- Identifies potential unsafe conditions in the workplace.
Education and Experience:
- Postsecondary degree or diploma in Public Relations, Communications, English, or Journalism is required
- Minimum of 5 years of internal or employee communications, public relations, or corporate communications experience
- Proven experience developing intranet content development
- Proven handson experience executing employee communications strategies and campaigns
- Previous experience executing global PR campaigns and tactics
- Experience supporting integrated marketing plans that include tactics to reach employees and media
- Previous experience working on multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment with lastminute changes in plans and direction is required
Skills:
- Excellent writing and editing skills in both traditional and digital formats with high attention to accuracy and detail required
- Superior interpersonal, relationshipbuilding, negotiating, communication, and presentation skills
