Service Desk Analyst - Student

Salary:
$ $ $24.68 per year (pay range explained below)

Contract:
Temporary, (Term: May - September 2024)


Hours: 37.5 hours


Location:

Various offices in the Lower Mainland (Downtown Vancouver offices and Park Royal Head Office), on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Squamish, Musqueam & Tsleil-Waututh Nations.

This a 100% on-site/in-office position.


About the role

As Service Desk Analyst - Student, you will immerse yourself be the primary point of contact and the friendly face for all tech-support needs.

You'll be handling and resolving customer inquiries such as password resets, laptop imaging, equipment preparation for new hires, and managing shipments.


Responsibilities

  • Password resets
  • Laptop imaging
  • Preparing laptops and other IT equipment for onboarding new staff (software installs,etc)
  • Packaging/shipping IT equipment to FNHA sites and staff home offices
  • IT equipment desk setup
  • Printer address book/Cellphone/Active Directory cleanup and administration
  • Collection and resolution of customer issues and requests
  • Review and testing of documentation

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

Education

  • Education in IT or a related field of study

Experience

  • Some experience supporting IT environments, such as hardware, software, multifunction devices, cell phones etc.
  • Customer service experience, does not need to be in IT field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Close attention to detail
  • Multitasking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to collaborate with customers and other IT staff

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.


As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021.

We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
