Raw Material Handler - (Forklift Operator) - Night Shift**Pacific Coast Fruit Products Ltd is a progressive, globally recognized fruit processing and trading company located in Abbotsford, BC. We are looking for a skilled individual for the position of Raw Material Handler (Forklift Operator). Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Raw Material Handlers stage raw materials (fresh and frozen fruit) and operate dumping equipment to prepare fruit for processing into concentrates and puree's.

Raw Material Handling Duties

Set up and configuration of dumping equipment in preparation for production
Operate forklift to transfer containers of raw product from the staging area to dumping equipment, receptacle and/or into position for manual dumping.
Set up and configure dumping equipment in preparation for production. Coordinate process control activities with Shift Supervisors and QC personnel.
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion according to Cleaning & Sanitizing procedures.
Record all required information. Complete documents, forms, and records according to applicable procedures and work instructions.
Assist in other production areas where required.
Other duties as assigned

Shift Schedule

Day Shift 12hour shifts from 6:00 pm to 6:15 am
Employees work a twoweek rotating schedule with Friday, Saturday, Sunday off every second week.

Week One

Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

Week Two

Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Repeat

Ability to read, write and speak English required
We look for solid work history, supportive work references and a demonstrated commitment to great attendance
Heavy lifting required up to 57 lbs.
Forklift experience is highly preferred
