**What you will get to do: - Responsible for all recruitment activities, including posting jobs, applicant screening, scheduling and conducting interviews, and checking references for all Salaried, Hourly & Union vacancies.

  • Assists with overflow recruitment activities from other customer groups, when required.
  • Provides information on benefits and other programs as part of the Employee Value Proposition.
  • Maintains employee files in Avanti (HRIS), including entry of new hires, transfers, terminations, and employee information changes.
  • Identifies effective sourcing channels and segments to source bestinclass talent.
  • Participates in the development of ongoing creative and costeffective sourcing strategies.
  • Provides assistance as needed to employees and managers in the areas of employee relations, performance management, compensation/benefits, and employment.
  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Participate, and be the brand ambassador for all job and career fairs.

Your education & experience matters to us:

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in full cycle recruitment, with the agility to manage high volume
  • Must be able to support all salaried, hourly and union vacancies with a high sense of urgency
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and contentious issues
  • Must have MS Office experience with using platforms such as (Indeed, LinkedIn, ATS-HigherMe & HRIS)
  • Ability to excel in a fastpaced environment where attention to detail and effective multitasking is a must
  • Working toward or achievement of CHRP designation an asset
  • Working knowledge of HR related legislation, including but not limited to the Ontario Employment Standards Act (ESA); Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC), Ontario Labour Relations Act (OLRA) etc
