Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Merchandiser to join our team.

As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing displays and arranging products to maximize sales and customer engagement.

Your keen eye for design and strong organizational skills will contribute to the overall success of our retail operations.


Duties:


  • Design and set up attractive product displays in accordance with company guidelines
  • Arrange merchandise to highlight key features and promotions
  • Ensure products are properly stocked, labeled, and priced
  • Collaborate with store management to develop effective merchandising strategies
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and communicate any discrepancies or low stock levels
  • Monitor sales trends and customer preferences to optimize product placement
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries and purchases
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor

Experience:


  • Proven experience in visual design and merchandising
  • Proficiency in design software such as Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, or AutoCAD
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Previous experience in retail merchandising or a related field is required
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$18.00-$22.23 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Montréal, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:


  • Merchandising: 1 year (required)

Language:


  • English (required)
