Fernic Group Contracting is looking for an experienced Project Manager with a diverse skillset to support our various small and medium commercial projects throughout the
Fraser Valley. Fernic Group's involvement begins at the earliest stages of design through to client occupancy. We work with a wide range of commercial projects to light industrial and commercial renovations.

What we're looking for:

Job overview and responsibilities will include and not limited to:

Preparation and submittals of proposals, bids, invoicing, specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract
Collaborates with Engineers and Supervisors in planning, budgeting, allocating resources, and providing timely completion of the project
Manage contract change order process and support invoicing/ final closure of the projects
Manage compliance of contractual responsibilities, contract documents and provide dispute resolution and risk mitigation
Manage all documents such as shop drawings, RFI's and addendums
Provide regular performance status regarding cost forecasts, schedule, and safety
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and employees
Obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
Communicate clearly and professionally, (written and/or verbal), regarding project scope, safety reviews, or near misses
Monitor project progress, cost of labor, material, and productivity for project control
Manage multiple projects effectively from start to final closure of projects

Qualification Requirements:

5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
Proven experience as construction project manager
Indepth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
Good knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with construction/ project management software
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills
Strong analytical skills
A team player with leadership abilities
PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage
Compensation will be based upon level of experience and qualifications._
