We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to work with our talented team.

You will have - 2 years experience in a similar role; and your primary focus will be to support project managers and technical staff with data entry, analysis, and management of our field data from contaminated sites related projects.

About the role

  • Data entry for all laboratory and field data to ensure quality table creation and control.
  • Maintaining project files including hard copy and electronic filing related to data tables and other data related reports.
  • Working closely with internal and external clients to meet their daytoday data needs, with a focus on handling large datasets in the ESDAT or SQL software environment.
  • Assisting in designing and developing custom tools on a number of platforms to help stream line everyday data management processes.
  • Liaising with various departments, supporting with driving initiatives forward and followup of action items.

About you

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Chemistry, Geography or related field, or a certificate/diploma in Database Management, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Geography, or related field
  • Approximately 2 years of professional work experience in a similar role
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office with proven advanced skills in utilizing Excel, Access, ESDAT, EQuIS, and or SQL to prepare and maintain databases and tables.
- proficient with Excel Macros and coding

  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Ability to think independently and strategically, maintain a positive attitude, be selfmotivated and employ a strong work initiative.
  • Strong people and communication skills with an ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fastpaced work environment.

  • The following attributes may give you a competitive edge
  • Experience working within an environmental consulting / professional services environment.
  • Proficient with Federal/Provincial/Municipal regulatory guidelines and standards
  • Exposure to utilizing BC CSR standards and CCME
- experience with hydrogeological graphing/trend analysis
- experience with R Software and any experience with Environmental Data Management Software would be an asset

  • AutoCAD 2014 or higher
  • ArcGIS 10.6 and/or ArcGIS Pro
