Vineyard Assistant / Worker

Chaberton Estate Winery, the oldest and largest estate winery in the Fraser Valley is seeking a Vineyard Worker to support our Vineyard Manager in our operations.

Located on 55 acres in Langley BC, with over 40 acres under cultivation, the job entails Vineyard work as well as maintaining the landscaping of the property.

Working under the direction of the Vineyard Manager, duties include:

• Pruning and tying
• Suckering, shootthinning, and leaf removal
• Tractor work and mowing
• Spraying
• Supervision of Temporary Workers
• Maintenance of equipment
• Trellis maintenance
• Landscaping work and garden maintenance
• Forklift operations
• Other duties as required.

This job involves working outside in all weather conditions. You must be able to lift 50 lbs, work on uneven ground, and walk long distances during some workdays. A large amount of physical labour is involved year-round and extended hours are required during the harvest season.

This job is full-time and year-round. Vineyard experience or Horticultural and Landscaping experience is an asset. Competitive salary and benefits offered based on experience.


Salary:
$20.00-$21.00 per hour
