What can I expect to do in this role?
This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday 8:00-4:30) with occasional overtime as needed. You must be flexible with working overtime.

Some of the responsibilities

Interpret electrical schematics
Modify electrical enclosures to specification
Wire electrical Power distribution and control circuits, as well as On-Machine wire routing and termination
Machine powerup, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Support other team members (Team lead, software, electronic, electrical, and mechanical teams)
Operate standard electrical assembly tools, and basic shop equipment
Communicate with engineering staff regarding build issues and timelines
Must have own basic toolset
Must be able to handle physical requirements of the job (continuous standing, occasional lifting of 1050 pounds)

Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements

At least 45 years of experience in the assembly of automated equipment, and electrical panel building, OR a recent graduate of a related postsecondary diploma (Electrical technician, Electro-Mechanical technician, Industrial automation, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications
Familiarity with standard electrical assembly practices
Exceptional communication (written & verbal in the English language) and interpersonal skills

Salary:
$18.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
