Auto Body Technician


Duties:

• Perform automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles
• Repair and replace damaged body parts, including panels, fenders, and doors
• Remove dents, scratches, and other imperfections from vehicle surfaces
• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and masking
• Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality and accuracy of work
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines while working in the shop

Skills:

• Automotive repair experience, preferably in a dealership or collision repair center
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
• Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for repairs
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues

Salary:
From $15.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

• Saint-Jérôme, QC J5L 1T8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- auto body repair: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

• Red Seal license (preferred)
