Role Summary/Purpose


Primary role is to provide timely and accurate quotations to dealer network on request and instructions from sales associates, provide technical support and advise to sales associates.

This position will also serve as the lead technical expert on Lambton's CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Tool.


Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
1. _
Dealer network and custom sales quotations _

a. Educate sales representatives and customers on product specs. and functionality

b. Complete dealer quotes on time and ensure accuracy

2. _
Product design and layout_

a. Complete construction site layouts, quotes, equipment drawings as required

b. Provide technical support internally

3. _
Product improvement and Project Management_

a. Participate in process improvement and product innovations

b. Assist product launches from conceptualization to commissioning

c. Assume project management role in large or complex orders including design

d. Liaise with sales and manufacturing as required to ensure effective scheduling and capacity utilization

4. _
Lead in maintaining CPQ tool_

a. Administrate Lambton's CPQ tool for the dealer network

b. Conduct training sessions with new and existing users, internal and external

c. Troubleshoot, delegate and follow through on bugs, enhancements and testing


Essential Qualifications

  • College Diploma or University Degree in Business, Technical or Engineering
  • Preferrable 2 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge using Autodesk products such as AutoCAD and Inventor; proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge in HTML, JavaScript and SQL Queries

Skills

  • Experience in grain handling and storage would be an asset
  • Strong mechanical, coding and technical aptitude
  • Organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A selfstarter who can work independently and with a team
  • Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality
