We are seeking an
Excavator Operator **who is aspiring to reach their potential in the field of construction, reporting to the General Superintendent.

ment
The Excavator Operator is required to assist with coordinate and execution of tasks associated with manufacturing of sand, stone, and gravel from natural and/or recycled resources.
How you will make an IMPACT**- Operate gasoline and diesel powered units
- Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances
- Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
- Diagnose / identify defects in heavy duty equipment
- Accurate completion of work orders and time cards
- Clean, lubricate and perform other minor maintenance work
- Keep detailed and accurate reports and documentation
- Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and operation techniques
- Oversee cargo handling and secure loads
- Perform trip inspections on equipment operated and load, ensuring safety and roadworthiness
- Completed safety inspections prior to operating any heavy equipment
- Communicate effectively with the public, customers, and coworkers both verbally and in written form
- Assist in loading and unloading of trucks
- Ensure that material is properly protected from the outdoor elements
- Ensure that any debris caused by the loading/unloading of truck is cleaned up
- Provide feedback to supervision regarding customer problems, mechanical problems, or delivery problems
- Other duties as assigned
How you WOW us
- High School Diploma or GED
- 25 years related experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Valid Driver's License with clean abstract
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50lbs
- Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to keep accurate records
- Basic Computers skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Demonstrated commitment to Health & Safety
- Ability to work well in a team environment with a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
