Housekeeper - Ottawa, Canada - The Embassy of the Republic of Korea

Description

• The position is responsible for maintaining the residence in good order and good cleanliness.
• This is a live out position and the Residence is located in Riverside Park Area, Ottawa.
• General working hours are 35 hours (09:00~17:00) per week from Monday to Friday. However, the position will be expected to cover any dinner or special events on week days or weekends outside normal working hours.
• 100% of monthly fixedsalary will be paid as a bonus per year.

• Ensure the household is well maintained and its furnishings are kept at an acceptable level.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Sort clothing, linen and other articles, load washing machines, and iron and fold dried items.
• Maintain the kitchen and undertake some food handling and preparation.
• Prepare the Residence for events, including setting the table and assisting with food service.

• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
• Experience in diplomatic households will be considered favorably.
• Flexibility, including willingness to adjust working days and hours to meet requirements.
