    Position Title: Senior Marketing Manager, EDB Lifecycle Marketing

    Job Description

    The Senior Marketing Manager, Everyday Banking Customer Lifecycle is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to help drive business objectives for Everyday Banking customer engagement and retention programs. Within this role you will help develop and implement omnichannel marketing strategies and communication materials, ensuring all marketing materials adhere to brand strategy and overall business objectives and is compliant with legal/regulatory disclosure requirements. The role will also be responsible for monitoring channel performance analytics to recommend, develop and execute strategies that drive business performance. May have direct reports.

    Marketing Planning - 15%

    • Develop strategy for marketing campaigns, ensuring they are on brand and support the business objectives.
    • Build effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders to design strategy, objectives, customer offers, and ensure alignment and quality/timeliness of implementations.
    • Conduct research to support the planning process, including competitive intelligence, consumer insights, market trends, and other elements. Monitor industry best practices and competitor activities related to customer lifecycle marketing.
    • Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations for overall planning and ongoing optimization of campaigns & programs.

    Campaign Management & Execution - 75%

    • Plan and execute strategic lifecycle marketing initiatives (Batch & Blast, Automation and Customer Journeys) for cross-sell, upsell, and retention in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Manage end-to-end development and delivery of targeted marketing solutions to deliver campaigns, including planning, scheduling & establishing key milestones, copywriting, coordinating stakeholder reviews/approvals, translation, QA, monitoring, and reporting
    • Ensure all marketing programs are developed and executed in accordance with internal policies, procedures and standards, and external legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Understand technical & process requirements, and provide solutions to eliminate roadblocks
    • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

    Reporting & Insights - 10%

    • Leverage analytics dashboards and reports to manage and optimize campaign/always-on activity.
    • Analyzes customer strategy effectiveness and recommends adjustments and reprioritization as appropriate.
    • Design, maintain and publish regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.

    Qualifications:

    • 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field. MBA Preferred
    • Experience with a variety of marketing disciplines such as lifecycle marketing programs, customer relationship management (CRM) programs, email marketing, digital marketing, direct marketing, and marketing analytics
    • Marketing Automation and Journey building experience
    • Strong verbal & written communication skills - In-depth.
    • Collaboration & team building skills - In-depth.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills - In-depth.
    • Ability to Influence others - In-depth.
    • Data driven decision making - In-depth.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    $68, $126,000.00

    Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
