Hourly Range:
$23.00/hour to $24.00/hour, based on qualifications and experience. Retail Store Managers are responsible for the overall day-to-day storefront operations of the Red Wing Shoe Store, including overseeing customer experience, managing all store personnel, and maintaining the storefront operations.

• Promote and support the highquality Red Wing brand image through professional selling
• Ensure clients are provided the highest level of service, including custom fitting and footwear conditioning
• Maintain an exceptional retail sales culture by recruiting and training Retail Sales Associates; responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, coaching, training and performance management of all Sales Associates
• Other management responsibilities include staff scheduling, controlling expenses, assisting with ordering and returns, assisting with account receivable processes, managing inventory, visual merchandising, and sales lead development

Qualifications

• High school diploma, college/technical training
• 12 years related work experience / training
• Retail footwear and/or wholesale experience is an asset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team is a must (peercoaching and collaboration as part of ongoing professional learning)
• Dependability and consistency to attend work shifts as scheduled to ensure structure in shift rotations; Understanding "retail" hours include day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours
• Effective written/verbal communication skills with attention to problem solving and respectful and productive communication in the workplace
• Computer utilization and POS experience is an asset (iPad, Dropbox, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe)
• All hires must provide a clean criminal record check and three work references

Physical Demands & Dress Code

• Lifting 30 pounds, bending, lacing shoes, climbing a ladder, inventory management and related shoe maintenance and repair tasks
• Store maintenance duties including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping, steaming, disinfecting surfaces, maintaining floors and walkways, washing windows, rotating inventory and setting up and maintaining displays
• Providing support with social media, OHS meetings, KPI reporting, and other professional learning opportunities across the teams
• Dress Code: Branded uniform tops provided, employee choice on jeans or slacks (no yoga pants), approved PPE footwear.
