Network System Certification Analyst - Halifax, Canada - CGI
Description
CGI is offering an exciting opportunity as a Network System Certification Analyst.As a member of CGI's national practice providing retail banking solutions and services to credit unions, you will be joining an experienced and dynamic team of global IT professionals serving our clients across Canada and the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and understand certification requirements.
- In collaboration with the Project Manager, provide inputs to planned activities for certification requirements
- Perform gap analysis on existing assets and controls against certification requirements
- Update documentation and processes as required for certification compliance
- Participate in meetings for certification activities
- Prepare material, test results, documentation, etc for certification
- Participate in certification activities as required by auditor
Other Responsibilities:
- Maintain a solid understanding of networking best practices, methodologies, and terminologies
- 100% adherence to CGI policies (Member Commitment to the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Dress Code, Travel, Expenses, etc.)
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant networking experience with focus on security
- Disaster Recovery; Business Interruption; Business Continuity documentation experience
Nice to Have:
- Experience in retail banking and/or credit union space
- HSM (Hardware Security Modules) on premise and/or cloud experience
- AWS experience
Soft Skills:
- Selfmotivated with attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills with the ability to balance immediate and longer term tasks and requirements
- Excellent presentation skills, ability to cater messages depending on the audience.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive tasks through to completion
- Demonstrate the ability to provide information and ideas in a clear, comprehensive, concise and organized manner
Required Level of Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
