J. Mason Contracting Ltd. is a locally owned business that has been operating in Atlantic Canada for over 35 years. The business specializes in concrete restoration, waterproofing, floor coatings and the maintenance of exterior building envelopes.

Compensation:

- $25.00/hour starting wage
- $28.34/hour and eligibility to join RRSP matching and company sponsored health plan after
6 months

Duties and Responsibilities:

Working independently or as a team
Perform and participate in safe work plans, tool box talks, and site inspections.
Concrete removals using chippers and jack hammers
Sandblasting and cleaning concrete patches
Formwork
Placing and finishing concrete
Preparing concrete surfaces for waterproofing membrane
General worksite housekeeping
Organizing equipment and materials
Operating equipment such as fork lifts, skid steers, and man lifts
Caulking and glazing both on the ground and from a swing stage
Other duties as the project requires

Requirements:

A valid drivers license is not required but is considered an asset
Ability to perform physical work
40+ hours a week, more when required
Ability to work evenings and weekends when required
Occasional travel throughout the Maritimes
