About the team:


The Receptionist works directly with our staff and customers on a daily basis to provide outstanding customer service in our brand new headquarters in Ottawa.

This role is responsible for managing all reception requirements and working within the Facilities team to provide a variety of in house activities for both staff and customers.

The Receptionist would assist with receiving visitors, handling inquiries from internal and external community, creating and distributing shipments/deliveries, and acting as the main back up to the Facilities Administrator.

This is an extremely versatile role where often immediate action is required, prioritizing tasks will be extremely important.


What you will do:


  • Answer's switchboard and directs incoming calls using Microsoft Teams
  • Receives visitors and coordinates guest activities
  • Handles inquiries from internal and external community in person and by phone
  • Handles and distributes incoming mail, faxes, shipments and deliveries
  • Coordinates telecommunications services, including long distance and audio conference support, etc.
  • Provides general admin assistance as required
  • Aid the finance department with data entry tasks and invoice routing
  • Act as the backup person to the Facilities Administrator.
  • Assist with assigning Service Tickets in Service Now
