Description

Licensed group childcare centre is currently looking to add a full time Early Childhood Educator to our team This is a Monday to Friday position in a 3-5 program.

Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding care and supervision of children ages 30 months to 5 years
Collaborate, develop and execute age appropriate programming to foster children's cognitive, physical, emotional and social development
Ability to use age appropriate techniques/strategies in guiding behaviour
Assess abilities and observe children for signs of potential developmental or behaviour challenges.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents/guardian and community services
Effectively communicate with parents/guardians regarding a child's day
Ability to work in a team environment with a collaborative approach but also the ability to work independently
Maintain a clean and safe environment that protects the health and wellbeing of children

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Early Childhood Educator License to Practice is required
Valid First Aid Certification
First Aid Certificate
Clean Criminal Record Check
References
