Truck It Personnel is looking for experienced full g class drivers for a courier company in Mississauga.

We are looking for experienced courier drivers that can work in a fast paced environment where you will be picking up and delivering boxes, parcels to customers, residential homes etc.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday - 1:pm-11:pm

Key Responsibilities:

Not much hand bombing involved, most places will load the trucks, must know how to use a pallet truck, same route everyday Monday-Friday going to Oakville, Burlington, than around 34pm will head to Hamilton ending in Grimsby than back to base, there could be one delivery where driver will have to deliver to the airport.

Load & unload:

Pickup and delivery of customer's shipments in an effective and efficient manner
Perform daily pretrip and posttrip inspections
Responsible for managing daily delivery and pickup schedules efficiently and effectively
Ability to solve problems as they arise while on road
Build positive relationships with both our internal customers (dispatch, colleagues, managers) and external customers
Comply with all Corporate Policies and Procedures
Work in a safe manner at all times
Maintain punctual attendance
Other Duties as assigned

Key Requirements:

Valid nonprobationary Driver's License
Clean Driving Abstract (please upload a current driver's abstract with your resume)
Ability to read maps;
Good sense of geographical direction
Ability to lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs.
