Forever Green Construction Inc. is a family run construction company in Ottawa specializing in residential construction.

We are looking for an Experienced Estimator to join our growing team that will support our sales manager by developing accurate, timely and professional estimates.

We are looking for someone interested in a "long-term" relationship with the company, with the possibility for advancement as you show reliability, loyalty, and commitment.

Responsibilities

• Understand the project and its requirements.
• Gather firsthand information from sites.
• Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers etc.)
• Complete full quantity takeoff of all Labour, equipment, and materials required to complete the project.
• Prepare written proposals.
• Provide consultation on planning (schedules, manpower needs etc.)
• Act as a liaison with customers, architects, and other key stakeholders

Qualifications

• 35 years working as an estimator in the residential construction field.
• General construction knowledge; understands specifications, materials, methods, and procedures.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using take off and estimating software

$62,400.00-$83,200.00 per year
