- Designing, constructing, and operating electronic equipment and geophysical monitoring instruments at remote stations throughout Canada, including the northernmost regions, as well as overseas.
- Station maintenance, remotely monitoring the transmission of data from the stations to CHIS data acquisition hubs and promptly taking corrective actions to ensure operational needs are met.
