Do you love being part of a busy kitchen? Our 3rdCooks take a hands-on, positive, creative and proactive approach to assisting the 1st and 2nd Cooks in preparing a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner menu items for the Brentwood College School kitchen as an important member of the Food Services team.

For this role, you should have great knife skills

This role provides some variety as you could be working in various areas throughout the kitchen.

Consistently providing excellent communication skills and friendly service on an ongoing basis to all students, staff and guests for efficient and on-time meal service is a must.

You believe that it is important to ensure that all aspects of your work are in compliance with applicable health and safety regulations and strictly adhere to all sanitary guidelines.

You will enjoy working within and contributing to the School's respectful workplace culture.


Your Opportunity:

This is a part-time or casual position at
$22.10 per hour.

A consistent schedule will be offered where appropriate; however, based on operational needs or events, flexibility will be required, including weekends, evenings, overtime and split-shifts.

Your Certificates and Experience:

• Current certification in Food Safe and WHMIS required
• Serving it Right (SIR) and First Aid would both be considered assets
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar role that requires a high level of attention to detail, and high standards of personal and environmental cleanliness, such as in a large restaurant, hotel, cleaning service or working in another institutional setting performing a similar role
