    Why is The Role Important?

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Pricing and Deposit Optimization team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize programs for PC Money Account and the interconnected echo system. The incumbent will be responsible for pricing, revenue and cost optimization across both interest and non-interest fee lines. Building relationships with key internal stakeholders including Treasury and Finance along with some other external partners is an integral part of this role. The role also requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive results in a dynamic and evolving market environment.

    What You'll do?

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize deposit products including chequing, saving and other ancillary deposit instruments.
  • Own all aspects of deposit profitability and economics. In conjunction with subject matter experts, develop and refine medium and long-term product pricing strategies as well as campaign strategies that enable us to grow a stable portfolio in next three years.
  • Deposits P&L monitoring, business case development, and results tracking/reporting as a key partner to Finance and Treasury to lead FTP & funding strategies on behalf of the Product team.
  • Monitor interest rate trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to inform pricing decisions and maintain competitiveness. Including identifying the right indicators to measure for product performance and variances to market.
  • Implement pricing adjustments and rate changes promptly, ensuring alignment with business goals and risk considerations.
  • Support forecasting efforts related to deposit volumes, interest income, and operating margins in collaboration with Finance teams to ensure the accuracy and reliability of projections.
  • Strong understanding of vendor-related costs to assess savings opportunities, further manage and make recommendations around reduction of vendor costs.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure service levels are met, resolve issues promptly, and drive continuous improvement in channel performance. This will also include negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve cost efficiencies.
  • Prepare ad-hoc presentations for senior management relating to updates on product performance, portfolio trends, and key strategic initiatives.
  • Utilize analytics and data-driven insights to recommend product enhancements, pricing adjustments, and business growth opportunities.
  • What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven relationship management skills with demonstrated seamless collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in forecasting and P&L analysis.
  • Previous people leadership experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking and thought leadership to identify and communicate business opportunities.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset and ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and relationship building.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and global best practices related to deposit products and pricing strategies is a plus.
